The Pistons Challenge, the day LeBron James became a superstar

Present on the NBA courts for more than twenty years, LeBron James has become an authentic legend of the league. Season after season, he sculpted his statue to the point that some consider him the best player in the history of basketball, ahead of Michael Jordan. But that's another debate, and that's not what we're here for today.

But what is the birth certificate of the legend of LeBron James? The moment when the whole world understood that this player was not like the others? There were his high school exploits and his first solid seasons in the NBA.

But the answer probably lies in one date: May 31, 2007. That day, against the Detroit Pistons, LeBron James definitely showed that he was a player who would leave his mark on the NBA.

And that’s what we tell you in this episode of Basketball Stories. An episode written by Jonathan Demay.
