The Pelicans will reunite with Trey Murphy III

After CJ McCollum or Jose Alvarado, it’s the turn of Trey Murphy to strengthen the ranks of Pelicansbecause The Athletic announces that he will return to the courts tomorrow, for the Spurs reception.

Additional good news for New Orleanscurrently 8th in the Western Conference (10-9), since the 23-year-old winger was one of the franchise’s best players last season (14.5 points on average, 48% shooting, 41% 3- points and 91% on throws).

Sidelined since the beginning of September, due to an injury (and operation) to the left meniscus, Trey Murphy III strengthens the Pelicans’ rotation on the outside positions, behind Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and even Herb Jones. His mission will be to energize Willie Green’s bench with his offensive qualities, alongside Jordan Hawkins, Larry Nance Jr, Jose Alvarado, Naji Marshall and Dyson Daniels.
