FIBA confirmed information from BasketNews, officially designating theSpainthere Latviathere Greece And Porto Rico as host countries for the next four Olympic Qualification Tournaments.

These, which each offer a ticket for the Paris Olympic Games, will take place from July 2 to 7, in Athens (Greece), Riga (Latvia), Valencia (Spain) and San Juan (Puerto Rico). .

As a reminder, we already know 8 of the 12 countries qualified for the men’s 5×5 basketball event, on the occasion of the Paris Olympic Games, which will be held from July 27 to August 11, 2024. These are France, as the organizing country, Australia, South Sudan, Japan, the United States, Canada, Serbia and Germany.

There are therefore four tickets left to be distributed, and we will thus find at the Olympic Qualification Tournaments Angola, the Bahamas, Bahrain, Brazil, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Spain, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, Montenegro, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Slovenia.

Six countries will thus find themselves in each TQO, the winner therefore obtaining their ticket to Paris at the end.
