The NBA recognizes ten refereeing errors at the end of the Wolves – Hornets match

As at every close end of a match, the NBA released its “Last Two Minute Report” for the meeting between the Wolves and the Hornets, which reviews all the refereeing decisions from the last two minutes of the game.

Reports which change nothing about the result, and which above all have the gift of annoying the protagonists.

This one will do it all the more as it records no less than 10 refereeing errors in the last 100 seconds. Three of them favored the Wolves and six of them favored the Hornets, the last one having no real consequence because the referees awarded a foul to Brandon Miller rather than PJ Washington.

The report notes that the referees missed three fouls committed by the Wolves, including an illegal screen by Rudy Gobert on the final throw-in. On the other side, they missed two walks by LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier, as well as multiple fouls from the Hornets, including two just on the last penetration of Karl-Anthony Towns, touched by both Terry Rozier and Leaky Black, and who should therefore have obtained two free throws to regain the advantage.

Regrettable errors, even if with Karl-Anthony Towns' 62 points and their 18-point lead at the end of the third quarter, the Wolves did not only lose this match because of the referees.

“There was a lot of immaturity throughout the team. We totally disrespected the game, ourselves, and we got exactly what we deserved.” had also let go of Chris Finch, their trainer.
