The NBA distributes suspensions after the disagreement between the Pelicans and the Heat

Without much surprise, the NBA did not lack distribute the suspensionstwo days after the disagreement between the players of the Pelicans and Heatwhich occurred at the start of the fourth quarter.

So, Jimmy Butler And Naji Marshall were both suspended for one match (without pay) for their hand play which caused the situation to degenerate, after a foul by Kevin Love on Zion Williamson, although deemed classic by the referees. For leaving their bench and trading punches at each other, Jose Alvarado And Thomas Bryant received a three-match suspension (without pay).

As for Nikola Joviche was sanctioned with a one-match suspension (without pay) for having also left his bench to get involved in the Butler/Marshall altercation.

The five players will serve their match suspensions between this Sunday and Thursday. To note that Miami And New Orleans will face each other again on March 22, for a reunion that already promises to be tough…
