The NBA had to widen its heads to rehake DLS matches postponed in an already very tight calendar. After a first update announced two weeks ago, the League was formalizing the reprogramming of two games postponed at the start of the month: the Lakers – Spurs, initially canceled because of the fires that ravaged the City of Angels, and which will be Played on March 17, as well as the Pelicans – Bucks, postponed due to snowstorm, which is now scheduled for April 6.
The concern is that to manage to stall these two games, the NBA had to reprogram seven others! Chicago, Orlando, Milwaukee, Toronto and Golden State are therefore also affected by this domino game.
Orlando's magic round
The Magic is the most concerned franchise since three games of the Floridians had to be moved to other dates: the reception of Chicago, which goes from March 12 to 6, and two trips, in San Antonio on March 17 instead of the 1st April, then in New Orleans, March 13 instead of April 6. Next comes Milwaukee, who saw two of his outside games be reversed to allow the Lakers to place their match against the Spurs. This is the Warriors – Bucks meeting, advanced from March 20 to 18 and Lakers – Bucks, initially scheduled for March 18 and which goes to 20.
Another match concerns the Bucks, the reception of New Orleans (decidedly) which goes from April 10 to 9. Finally, the meeting between Golden State and Toronto was advanced by one day, from March 20 to 19.
Now it remains to be hoped that the reports will stop there for this season, otherwise the league will still have to tear its hair to find dates available in time …
