We were eagerly awaiting this brand new MB.03the signature shoe of LaMelo Ball which still enjoys resounding success with the general public, a little over nine months after its release in France.
The pair is here ready to attack the summer with its “South Beach” colorway which could be among the most successful of the collection. The upper borrows the famous “South Beach” tone from the colors of Florida sunsets, offering a sky blue base matched with pink patterns. The various logos and inscriptions also stand out in pink.
Puma has met its deadlines, and the MB.03 “Miami” is now available since this weekend on Basket4Ballersat a price of 130 euros.
Our verdict on the MB.03
The MB.03 here presents the result of the learnings made by Puma on the two previous models. The MB.01 and 02 models were already very good, and won over the general public with their “flashy” colors. But this third version is without a doubt the best.
The sole is closer to that of the MB.01 and offers exceptional sensations with better comfort. The upper is focused on support at all levels. And the design remains original with a specific theme as for the two previous editions, while the colors still promise to make headlines.
You really have to rack your brains to find any flaws (ventilation?). In any case, all the ingredients seem to be present for the MB.03 to be a hit on the courts this season. While waiting for the rest, the MB.03 is currently on track to be a worthy successor to the PG 6, the reference for the 2021-2022 season, and to the LeBron 20 from last season, as BasketUSA's favorite for the start of the 2023-2024 season.
