The Mavericks lose Josh Green

At the heart of the crazy evening of Mavericks against the Nuggets, illuminated by Kyrie Irving's winning basket, we learned that the Texas franchise should do without Josh Green for the next two weeks, if not longer.

It's Jason Kidd, the coach of Dallas, who announced it before the match and this follows the Australian's injury exit during Thursday night's defeat in Oklahoma City. Badly injured in the ankle (sprain) during the first quarter, he had to leave his teammates without returning from the evening afterwards.

A hard blow for the Mavericks, who lose one of their most valiant soldiers, a regular starter this season (for 8.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists on average, at 49% shooting and 40% at 3-points). Without Josh Green (27 minutes per game), Dante Exum, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Derrick Jones Jr. should be given more responsibility.

In the fight to enter the Top 6 in the West, Dallas is currently in 7th place in its conference, with 39 victories against 29 defeats, but the gap is almost zero with the Kings (38-28) just ahead.
