The Lakers on the trail of Cam Johnson?

After naming Jordi Fernandez as a new coach at the end of the regular season, the Nets took two new steps in their reconstruction operation, by separating from their “Iron Man” Mikal Bridges and by extending Nick Claxtonplaced back at the center of the future project. What will be the next steps? Brooklyn could be tempted to give up two elements of the rotation to continue to free up salary mass and accumulate first Draft picks. According to the New York Postthe profiles of Cam Johnson and Dorian Finney-Smith are particularly attracting the interest of several franchises in the league, and Brooklyn could therefore be tempted.

Dynamic winger, extended for $108 million a year ago, Cameron Johnson would be followed by the Cavaliers, the Kings and the Lakers. Three teams that have many exchange currencies that the Nets would be ready to recover to free themselves from Johnson's contract. As for Dorian Finney-Smith, “stretch four” par excellence, the Nets had already refused a trade offer including two first round Draft picks a year ago. Since he could be a free agent in a year, the Nets could give him up in a few days.

While Cam Johnson may be more sought after, Dorian Finney-Smith could be the first to leave, given his contractual situation.
