The Knicks take stock of their numerous injuries

THE Knicks were very happy to see the cut of the All-Star Game arrive. On the knees, the New York players not only needed to breathe, but also to find their strength because the infirmary was full with the presence of Donte DiVincenzo, Isaiah Hartenstein and even Bojan Bogdanovic, to accompany Mitchell Robinson, OG Anunoby and Julius Randle.

The first names are all expected on the floor this week, starting this Thursday in Philadelphia. “I’m relying on training but we’ll see how they feel this Wednesday,” precise Tom Thibodeau. “The three were able to train this Tuesday. »

Which is not the case for Julius Randle. As we have seen, the interior did not participate in the all-star game, victim of a dislocation of the right shoulder. He was going to be away from the courts for at least three weeks. Here we are, where is it?

Where are OG Anunoby and Mitchell Robinson?

“He’s doing well overall. He hasn't been given the green light to train but he ticks all the boxes.”replies the coach. “He moves well. He takes things day by day, does what is asked of him. He works twice a day. »

Always very quiet when he is questioned about a possible operation for his All-Star – “I haven't heard anything other than that he is making good progress” -, Tom Thibodeau remains patient. “It’s more of a decision for the leaders. We will have a better vision of things next week”announces the coach.

For OG Anunoby, we will have to wait until March to find out more. Present at press conferencethe winger hopes to be ready for the playoffs.

As for Mitchell Robinson, the goal is still for him to return to training after the All-Star Game.
