Transferring Bradley Beal will not necessarily be easy for the Wizards, as the rear’s salary is complicated to digest for the franchises interested in the triple All-Star (2018, 2019 and 2021).
The Athletic quickly mentioned the tracks of Miami and Milwaukee, before adding that of Sacramento.
We understand the idea: improve the backcourt with De’Aaron Fox, Kevin Huerter having disappointed in the playoffs, compiling only 9 points on average at 35% shooting success, including 21% from 3-pointers, against the Warriors. In comparison with his 15 point average in the regular season, 49% success rate including 40% behind the 3-point line.
Recovering Bradley Beal would thus make it possible to form a very interesting “Big Three” with De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. It remains to be seen how the Kings could attract the player from Washington.
Also according to The Athletic, Bradley Beal would not oppose a transfer to Sacramento, via his “no-trade clause”, but not sure that an offer including Kevin Huerter, Harrison Barnes and another player like Davion Mitchell (in addition possible Draft picks) really interests the Wizards. It is indeed difficult to imagine the Kings letting go of De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis, but it is necessary to compensate for Bradley Beal’s salary to recover it.
As a result, for the moment, this track is not “not very clear for both sides”confirms The Athletic.
Another team that’s had Bradley Beal trade talks with the Wizards: The Kings, sources tell me and @sam_amick. It’s believed Beal would consider Sacramento given his no-trade clause, but right now there does not appear a clear pathway for the two sides.
