Like every year for “pink October”, Kevin Durant participates in its own way in the breast cancer prevention and screening campaign. The Suns superstar embraced this mobilization following the death of his aunt, honoring her memory each year with a colorway bearing her name: “Aunt Pearl”. The tradition has continued since the KD 4 and KD 17 was no exception to the rule this season.
The first images of the “Aunt Pearl” colorway of Kevin Durant’s 17th signature shoe feature a pale pink upper on which the “Swoosh” stands out in two shades of slightly darker pink.
The back of the shoe and the heel have floral patterns, with the “AP” inscription on the left shoe, using the same typography as the “KD” logo, present on the heel of the right shoe but also on the tongue. The whole thing is based on a pink midsole.
The KD 17 “Aunt Pearl” is only available on Basket4Ballers this week, even if demand is strong, at a price of 160 euros. This is already the 10th color of the KD 17 put on sale in France.
