Remarkable consistency. This is what emerges from the career statistics table of Mike Conley. With the exception of his rookie season, his points average has never fallen below 10 points. At the heart of his 17th season in the big league, and at 36 years old, the Wolves leader is still averaging just under 11 points each night.
This average, his 2nd lowest since his arrival in 2007, is likely to increase in the weeks to come. With the injury to Karl-Anthony Towns, the leader is given more responsibility in attack.
“ The thing of which (Chris Finch) needs me every night, especially when we have guys on the sidelines, is finding ways to bring in points.
