The “Jumpman” is the logo of the Jordan Brand brand, and it is found on many NBA products since Michael Jordan’s brand is a subsidiary of Nike, the league’s equipment supplier. In most franchises, stores sell T-Shirts with the silhouette of the former Bulls star player. It may go unnoticed, but not in Salt Lake City…
After the publication of a photo of the T-shirt on social networks, and the outraged reaction of fans, the franchise decided to remove the model from its stores. This was announced by a spokesperson for the franchise at Salt Lake Tribune.
A precedent with the Pistons
For what ? Because the fans still have the two defeats in the NBA final against Michael Jordan’s Bulls in their throats. It was 25 years ago, but it is inconceivable to some that the silhouette of “His Airness” adorns Jazz T-shirts. Especially above the name, as if Jordan was dunking on the franchise.

Three years ago, the Pistons found themselves at the center of the equivalent controversy, and local journalists joked about the fact that there was the silhouette of Michael Jordan on the “Statement Edition” version of the Detroit jersey.
Jordan logo on a Pistons jersey. This is wrong. Very wrong https://t.co/zlucZQn0AZ
