The Hornets will meet Jerry Stackhouse

The Hornets did not wait until the last day of the regular season to look for the successor to Steve Clifford, who had resigned. Interviews are increasing, and the new management is in competition with the Nets for certain technicians. Like Jordi Fernandez and Steve Young, still engaged in the “final phases”, with a “play-in” for the first with the Kings, and a first round of playoffs for the Suns assistant.

According to ESPN, the Hornets decided to expand their search, and they made appointments with Jordan Ott and Jerry Stackhouse. The first is an assistant to Darvin Ham at the Lakers, and he knows the new GM, Jeff Peterson, well, since he spent six years on the Nets bench. As for the second, he is a North Carolina legend since he was born there, and he signed his first exploits there with North Carolina.

Big competition

Cut by Vanderbilt University, the former top scorer in the NBA made a name for himself as a trainer, whether as an NBA assistant in Memphis and Toronto, as a youth team coach, and therefore in the NCAA. On his record, a G-League title in 2017 with the franchise affiliated with the Raptors.

The two join an XXL cast where we also meet David Adelman, Charles Lee, Jay Larranaga, Royal Ivey, and Lindsey Harding, elected Coach Of The Year in the G-League.
