The Hawks take their revenge on the Raptors

The second is the right one: after losing the first match on Wednesday evening, the Hawks won their second duel in three days against the Raptors has Toronto (125-104). A match generally mastered from start to finish by the players ofAtlantawhich finally put an end to a series of five consecutive defeats.

As is often the case, the Hawks were successful in attack (52% on shots including 39% on 3-pointers with 16 award-winning shots), under the leadership of their conductor Trae Young (38 points and 11 assists… but 8 turnovers), already very good on Wednesday evening and who once again tortured the Raptors defense, both with his offensive and passing qualities. Opposite, the Raptors' defense continues to worry, while the attack, convincing on Wednesday evening, immediately fell back into its ways (40 baskets for 14 turnovers)…

WHAT YOU MUST REMEMBER

End of black streak for Atlanta. After five consecutive defeats, the Hawks finally stopped the bleeding, and they did it in style. The players of a Quin Snyder very satisfied with the face of his team at the press conference actually shone on both sides of the field, delivering their most complete performance of their season, or one of the most complete at least. And if a successful evening on offense is not really a surprise for this team, a successful evening on defense is more so. In their half of the field, the Hawks put up the barbed wire, and their attack was nourished by this serenity.

The Raptors immediately fall back into their mistakes. After putting an end to a series of four losses in a row on Wednesday night, thanks to a hot attack, the Raptors failed to capitalize and immediately lost their “momentum”. As too often, their attack was difficult to see with its predictability, and to make matters worse their defense continued to sink (more than 120 points conceded for the third time in the last four games)…
