Nike and LeBron James are expected to take advantage of the Olympic Games' exposure window to promote the Lakers superstar's upcoming signature shoe, the LeBron 22.
The player has already worn the model in training for the first time, allowing the public to have a first glimpse. It is also a sign that the pressure is rising, a few hours before the official opening of the competition, and while a shock awaits the Americans this Sunday against Serbia.
Dressed in a “Team USA” colorway of blue, white and red, the shoe appears with a white leather upper, and a navy blue base with a snakeskin pattern. The outline, adorned in red, highlights the “Swoosh” on the upper. LeBron James’ signature also appears in red on the heel.
Another Nike sign appears in gray at the midsole, the composition of which remains unknown to this day. Finally, the tongue seems much more imposing than on the LeBron 20 and 21.
So here are the first photos of the LeBron 22 while we wait to learn more, in particular its price and its official release date on the global market.
