We don't yet know who will broadcast the NBA in France when it starts again, but one thing is certain: we won't have the chance to discover the Clippers' new arena in “prime time”. Indeed, when reading the Clippers' schedule, we discover that no games are scheduled for early afternoon Los Angeles time.
Every year, on Saturdays or Sundays, Kawhi Leonard's teammates played about ten games at 12:30 p.m. Los Angeles time, or 9:30 p.m. in France. The reason for this unusual schedule: the obligation to share the Crypto.com Arena with the Lakers and/or the Kings.
The reunion with the Lakers will not take place until 2025!
Starting this fall, Tyronn Lue's players will play in their own arena in Inglewood and they won't have to play in the Clippers' weekend opener. Just as they won't have to watch the Lakers' banners at every game. When the Clippers play on Saturday, It will be at 7:30 p.m. local time. On Sunday, it will be at least 6:00 p.m.
As we learned a few days ago, the Clippers will inaugurate their Intuit Dome on October 23 against Kevin Durant's Suns. We will have to wait until 2025 to see the Lakers there, and it will be on January 19 and February 4.
The Clippers will next travel to Crypto.com Arena on February 28 and March 2.
