The Cavs more inclined to transfer Jarrett Allen?

We thought the Cavs quartet was untouchable, but maybe that’s not quite the case. According to Mark Steinthe Cavaliers would thus be “ more open » than you think to transfer Jarrett Allenyet a core member of the team along with Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Evan Mobley.

In question: his production in the playoffs during the first round lost to the Knicks (4-1). Opposed to Mitchell Robinson in particular, the 25-year-old pivot was content with 9 points and 7 rebounds on average, despite a consistent playing time of 38 minutes. A production in sharp decline with regard to its regular season (14 points and 10 rebounds in 32 minutes each evening).

Above all, a production possibly considered weak with regard to the contractual situation of the pivot. This one, which would interest the Mavericks in particular, still has three years of contract at 20 million dollars per year.

Such a transfer from the Ohio franchise, which has just strengthened its wings (Georges Niang, Max Strus and Ty Jerome) would send a strong signal in favor of the youngest Evan Mobley, also statistically behind in the playoffs but who remains the big hope in the Cleveland racket for years to come.
