The Bulls send Alex Caruso to the Thunder in exchange for Josh Giddey!

Less than a week before the Draft, and ten days before free agency, the Bulls and the Thunder launch hostilities with a “ swap ” between Alex Caruso And Josh Giddey ! The first, considered one of the best defenders in his position, joins the Thunder where he will perfectly complement Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. In his final year of contract, the former Lakers guard finished the season with a selection to the All-Defensive Second team.

It's a big catch for the Thunder, who finished number 1 in the regular season in the West, before falling in the playoffs against the Mavericks. With Caruso in their ranks, who can combine with Lu Dort to form an exceptional pair of defenders, OKC will be able to compete against all the best outside duos in the Western Conference, starting with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, who made them misery in the playoffs.

On the Chicago side, the arrival of Josh Giddey will bring creativity in attack, and he is the very type of player who can hold the team while waiting for the return of Lonzo Ball. At only 21 years old, the Australian remains in a very complicated season, and at the Bulls, he could relaunch himself as leader of the attack. An attack that could evolve next season since Zach LaVine could be transferred, while DeMar DeRozan is a free agent.
