The Bulls ready to lower their demands to transfer Zach LaVine?

Hard to imagine Zach LaVine in the Bulls squad next season. Sports boss of the franchise, Arturas Karnisovas promised change, aware that the current group was going nowhere.

“I’m going to look at this whole group. This group did not work. There are a lot of good things in certain players and a lot of young people who have taken a step forward and that's positive. But overall, as a group, it didn't work. So I'm going to have to find answers during the offseason.”he admitted.

Since the club is counting on Nikola Vucevic and which he also wishes to keep DeMar DeRozanwhile the very long-term injury of Lonzo Ball makes him untransferable at the moment, the main adjustment variable is therefore called Zach LaVine…

Lakers? Bulls? Magic?

Already, last year, rumors had been extremely numerous around the All-Star guard, before his injury, in mid-January, put an end to his season and to the speculation.

But as KC Johnson explains, from NBC Sports Chicago, both camps surely want to divorce during this offseason. The problem is that Zach LaVine will still receive $138 million over the next three seasons (the last is a “player option”) and that his contract does not really attract the crowds.

Until now, the Bulls had remained quite firm on the desired counterpart, namely an All-Star or first-round Draft picks, or even both. But for KC Johnson, Arturas Karnisovas lowered his demands and Zach LaVine could therefore be transferred, even if the offer received is less interesting. The odds of the double winner of the Slam Dunk Contest (2015 and 2016) being at their lowest, he probably has no choice anyway.

It remains to be seen who would be ready to recover their contract, even at a knockdown price. We have often heard of Lakers or some Sixers in the file, while the Magic might also be interested in the profile…
