The Bucks will meet Scott Brooks

It is without question, the most interesting coaching position of the offseason: taking over from Mike Budenholzer, fired by Milwaukee. After the elimination against the Heat, the Bucks decided to take a 180° turn, and everyone is eager to know the name of his replacement. For now, no favorite stands out, and it’s time for interviews. On Wednesday, we learned that the franchise had asked to meet Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson and that they were going to talk to James Borrego (ex-Hornets) and their assistant Charles Lee, and this Thursday, ESPN reveals that Scott Brooks is on their “short list”.

The former Thunder and Wizards coach has just spent two years at the Blazers, as assistant to Chauncey Billups. His rating is not necessarily very high, but his record remains remarkable with 12 seasons at the head of an NBA franchise, and a record of 521 wins for 414 losses (56% wins). It was he who led the Thunder to the NBA Finals in 2012, and he was Coach Of The Year in 2010. At the head of the Wizards, he led the franchise in the playoffs three times in five years.
