The Greek Colossus Giannis Antetokounmpo is still not recovered from his heavy fall, which occurred at the start of Game 1 of the series between Milwaukee and Miami. On the eve of Game 3 in Miami tonight, the “Greek Freak”, still listed as “uncertain”, was still feeling pain according to his coach Mike Budenholzer.
“He does everything he can to make himself available to play”, did he declare. “We will continue to monitor him for the rest of the day, and we will do the same this Saturday. We will then see where it will be”.
The number 34 of the Bucks had to be content with individual work and therefore did not participate in collective training with the rest of the team. Milwaukee is still breathing after taking Game 2 without its leader (138-122).
Mike Budenholzer, however, assured that it is the health of Giannis Antetokounmpo which will take precedence over the rest.
“The reality is that he, like the others, plays again when he is ready. We can’t ignore the fact that it’s the playoffs, reality and human nature, but I don’t think his back or his body knows if it’s December or the playoffs. He’ll be ready when he’s ready. We will always protect him and think about his health, his future and his career”.
The Bucks technician added that Wes Matthews, calf hit, is already out for tonight.
