The Blazers transform Skylar Mays’ contract

It is ESPN who announces it: Portland decided to transform the contract of Skylar Mayswhich moves from a “two-way contract” to a standard contract.

Three days after having had the best game of his career against the Kings (18 points, 11 assists), the 26-year-old leader convinced his managers to offer him “real” status in the squad.

With 6.1 points and 2.7 assists on average this season, Skylar Mays, who had already distinguished himself with the Blazers at the end of last season (15.3 points, 8.3 assists), proves particularly valuable for Chauncey Billups in the absence of Scoot Henderson.
