The Blazers clean up

Since this week, franchises have the possibility of signing elements for 10 days, or of transforming “ two-way contract » on a fixed-term contract until the end of the season. We imagine that the Blazers have an idea in mind since they have just separate two players. It is Skylar Mays and D'Ish Wainright.

The first had played 21 matches, including five as a starter when Scott Henderson was in the infirmary. He averaged 6.3 points and 3.6 assists, and at the end of November, management had transformed his two-way contract » into a classic contract. A contract that Duop Reath, the Australian interior, should recover.

Less used due to a knee injury, Wainright only came into play seven times. We wouldn't be surprised if the Suns called on him again in the coming weeks, since he left only good memories, and Frank Vogel had considered keeping him at the start of the season.

Two-way contract : Designed to create a new bridge between the NBA and the G-League, this type of contract allows each team to secure the services of two or three additional players, to develop them mainly in their affiliated development league franchise but also up to 50 matches in the NBA.
