The Blazers have found their third and final “two-way contract” to tackle the upcoming season. Alongside Bryce McGowens And Justin Minaya, ESPN announces that it is the rear explosive Taze Moore (26 years old, 1.95m) who was chosen by the Oregon franchise.
The latter proved himself in the G-League last season with the Rip City Remix (15.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists on average over 22 games), and was rewarded for his efforts by signing two ten-day contracts for the Blazers during the season, playing his first four games in the NBA.
An incredible dunker
Taze Moore then took advantage of the offseason to shine in the CEBL, Canada's premier league, finishing as MVP of the season with an average of 17.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.3 assists under the Vancouver Bandits jersey.
With the signing of Taze Moore, Portland's roster is now complete. The 15th and final spot is expected to be played out in training camp between Dalano Banton, whose contract is not yet guaranteed, and Devonte' Graham, who is invited via an Exhibit 9 contract. Training camp will begin on October 1.
Two-way contract : Designed to create a new bridge between the NBA and the G-League, this type of contract allows each team to secure the services of two or three additional players, to have them play mainly in their affiliated development league franchise but also up to 50 matches in the NBA.
