We were waiting for a Jayson Tatum sparkling to attack this NBA final after a playoff campaign in the East where the Celtics winger alternated between good and bad. It is clear that JT continues to struggle against the Mavs, with two complicated first matches on shooting, at 12/38 overall!
For the sparkling side, it was therefore on the feet of Jayson Tatum that we had to look, with a new color of the Tatum 2 highlighted on the occasion of Game 1. Called “Next Stop Dongdan”, it pays homage to the streetball tournament organized every summer in the district of Beijing called Dongdan.
The upper part, predominantly in purple, is complemented by hits of turquoise blue and pink. The “Jumpman” and player logos stand out in sky blue on the tongue, heel and sole. The whole, symbolizing a sunset in Dongdan, rests on a white outsole.
More information to come regarding a possible release date for this JT2 “Next Stop Dongdan”.
