Talen Horton-Tucker will end his contract with the Jazz

No “free agency” for Talen Horton-Tucker. ESPN is indeed reporting that the Jazz player has decided to activate his option with the Salt Lake City franchise. Next season, he will receive $11 million.

A reasonable amount and at the height of its production. Traded last summer by the Lakers with Stanley Johnson against Patrick Beverley, he signed a year with just under 11 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds on average, most often coming off the Jazz bench. It was his best exercise of his career.

But no doubt that his skill problems (42% on shots, including 29% from afar) have limited the interest of other franchises, likely to offer him a better contract.

The 46th choice of the 2019 Draft thus has one last year in front of him to try to increase his value.
