Storm and Aces have their ticket to the playoffs

After the Liberty, the Lynx and the Sun, it is the turn of the Aces and of Storm to validate their places for the playoffs. It was only a formality, but we will remember that the Seattle team won its ticket thanks to the combined defeats of the Sky and the Dream.

Because Gabby Williams' teammates got a basketball lesson at home against Liberty, the undisputed leader of the championship with 27 wins for 7 losses. Led by Olympic champions Breanna Stewart (32 points) and Sabrina Ionescu (25 points), the New Yorkers won 98-85. It must be said that Liberty was coming off a humiliating loss against the Sparks, and that its domination was exceptional on the rebounds: 45 takes to 17!

Another double-double for A'ja Wilson

On the Seattle side (19v-12d), Gabby Williams scored 5 points but shot 2 out of 6. The Frenchwoman is still angry with her shooting since she is shooting at 24% after three matches with 4 shots scored out of 17 attempts.

Other qualifiers of the evening, the Aces. The two-time defending champions do a double blow. Winners of the Dream (83-72) with 26 points and 16 rebounds from A'ja Wilson and 20 points and 10 rebounds from Tiffany Hayes, Becky Hammon's players qualify for the playoffs, and close in on the Storm in the standings with 18 wins for 12 losses.
