Since the announced departure of Steve Kerr at the end of the Paris Olympic Games, won against France, Team USA no longer has a coach. Thus, two qualifying windows for the AmeriCup are still to be played. In November, on the 22nd and 25th, against Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. Then in February 2025, on the 20th and 23rd, against the same opponents.
