Stephen Curry's Overtime at the Olympics

7.3 points average at 25% 3-point shooting, then 30 points average at 65% 3-point shooting. These are the numbers of Stephen Curry during the Olympic Games, at two different times. The first line of statistics refers to the first four matches of the tournament. The second refers to the last two matches, the most important ones.

“The first four games, he wasn't your usual Stephen Curry. He was 5/20 from 3-point range, averaging seven points. The last two games, he had 17 three-pointers and 60 points.”, summary Chris Mullin for a basketball camp with young people.

The former Dream Team player does not say this by chance. “I say this because I have a friend who was at the training.”he specifies, thus being able to explain this hot flush from the playmaker. “The last two games, the shootaround was optional. Players didn't have to go. Few were there and one of them was Stephen Curry.”

Routine Player – “ Every day he does exactly the same thing,” Steve Kerr said two years ago – who loves those repetitions over and over again, the 2022 Finals MVP has regained his skill by relying on his work and preparation.

“My buddy texted me to tell me he was at the shootaround. There were three players: two were shooting free throws, and Stephen Curry was doing an hour of practice.”continues Chris Mullin. “It was before the semi-final against Serbia, when he made 9 3-pointers. He did the same thing before the final against France.”
