2024, Olympic year! In full preparation in Las Vegas for the Paris 2024 Games, Stephen Curry took the opportunity to unveil two colorways of its next signature shoe in collaboration with Under Armour: the Curry 12 ! The Warriors leader has stayed on theme since the two models he has worn so far are in Team USA colors.
The first colorway features a primarily white upper with red and navy finishes, particularly on the heel, a combination that can be found on the UA Flow sole, on which the player's logo stands out in red, as on the tongue. The second colorway keeps the same colors, but arranged differently. The upper is here in navy blue, with red used on the outlines at its base, and also on the heel, the player's logo is this time in white.
Like the Curry 11, the twelfth signature shoe benefits from a unique cut, rising high enough at the heel to protect the Achilles tendon and then descending under the ankle, and with an upper that is visibly made of classic mesh, a bit less airy than on previous versions. We can also read “Greatest Shooter Ever” on the contours of the tongue.
The Curry 12 release date has been announced for August 14, at a price that is still unknown.
