Stephen Curry on the comeback

We knew that the injury to the left ankle of Stephen Curry was not necessarily serious, being a sprain of the peroneal tendon, but the Warriors still wanted to be careful with him.

Nonetheless, the two-time MVP's return appears imminent, as he participated in part of Friday's practice session.

He hasn't done anything in public, but he's done a lot of land and racing, so he seems in good shape to me » revealed Steve Kerrhis coach, who has since gone 2-0 without his star leader.

If he will not play this Saturday's meeting in Houston, we can think that Stephen Curry will play again next week. Why not on Monday, when Golden State travels to Washington? In any case, he will be re-examined this Sunday, seven days after being injured.

De'Anthony Melton remains in the infirmary

Steve Kerr also took the opportunity to give news of De’Anthony Meltonalso absent since last Sunday, this time because of his back pain. An already fragile body part in the leader/back…

This is obviously something we knew when we signed him, because he already had these problems last season » recalled the coach. “ But we are very careful, especially at the start of the season. We will make sure that he is well and that he starts his season well on a physical level. If we have to put him down for another week or two, we will.. »

Concerning De'Anthony Melton, we should expect not to see him back in uniform for another week, even if he is progressing well. A resumption on November 12, for the start of the In-season tournament and at the end of road triptherefore cannot be excluded.
