Stats & Highlights | The Wolves recover, the Heat dives despite Terry Rozier

No third defeat in a row for the Wolves. The latter avoided what would have been a first in their season by winning in Washington behind the 38 points of Anthony Edwards, the 27 of Karl-Anthony Towns or the big double-double of Rudy Gobert (19 points and 16 rebounds).

Despite the clumsiness on the part of his stars, Chris Finch more appreciated the performance of his Wolves which took place after their exit “ immature » against the Hornets, marked by the 62 points of the “KAT”. This success allows them to stay in contact with the Thunder (31v-13d) at the top of the West. The Wizards (7v-36d), with a calamitous Jordan Poole (7 points at 2/11) but a still productive Marvin Bagley III (17 points and 15 rebounds), are sinking with five defeats in a row.

Similar dynamic for the Heat (24v-20l including 4 losses in a row) who were not able to beat the Grizzlies (17v-27l) at home. Largely reduced, the visitors were able to count on Vince Williams Jr.'s career record (25 points), while the Floridians again showed their offensive limits. And this, despite the debut of their rookie Terry Rozier. “ We know that everything is not going to be perfect right away “, recalled the old Hornetauthor of 9 points coming off the bench.

Finally, a word about his former Charlotte team (10v-32d) which lost to the Pistons (5v-39d). Behind Bojan Bogdanovic's 34 points and a clean game from Killian Hayes (6 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds), Detroit made the difference in the final moments despite three players facing 20 points or more.
