The Thunder ends its delicate “road trip” to the West on a good note. For the fourth time this year, the Oklahoma City team won over the Blazers. A victory, carried by the 37 points of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the 31 points of Jalen Williamsnot so easy to achieve despite the gap in the standings between the two teams.
It must be said that the five opposite, led by Anfernee Simons (29 points), were running at full speed. Trailing by 16 points in the first period, the Blazers (17v-44d), with a Rayan Rupert to 3 points (1/6) in 18 minutes, found a way to get back to one possession four minutes from the end. But the Thunder (43v-19d) held on in the money time.
Just ahead of the Blazers in the West, the Grizzlies (22v-41d) won against the Sixers (35v-27d). After being 15 points behind, the teammates of Jaren Jackson Jr. (30 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks) limited their opponents to 16 units in the last largely won period (16-34).
