Stats & Highlights | The Pelicans scuttle, the Rockets continue
November 12, 2024
Fifth defeat in a row for the Pelicans who play with their B team. The return of Trey Murphy III (4 out of 14 on shots) is not enough, and Willie Green's players give in to the onslaught of Cam Thomas, author of 10 of his 17 points in the last quarter. The Pelicans led 105-101 in money time but they missed their last eight shots, and it was Thomas who aired the room with a big 3-pointer.
On the Houston side, the Rockets have a fourth victory in five matches to sign their best start to the season since 2019. Facing the Coulibaly-Sarr pair, it is Alperen Sengun who is the most prominent with 27 points and 17 rebounds! In Washington, the return of Kyle Kumza had no effect and the Wizards suffered a 5th defeat in a row.
