Stats & Highlights | The Nuggets too easy, the Nets too disappointing

Even if they are not absolutely aiming for 1st place in the Western Conference, the Nuggets are getting a little closer, since they are back on par with the Wolves, 2nd in their conference.

Opposed to a Jazz team which no longer plays anything, the NBA champions win 142-121 after having had a lead of up to 39 points in the first half with a 14 out of 20 at 3-points! Returning from the locker room, the Nuggets relax, and the Jazz take the opportunity to score 44 points in the 3rd quarter alone. Returning to -14, the Jazz then suffered from the accelerations of Jamal Murray (37 points) and the accuracy of Nikola Jokic (12 out of 14 on shots). This is the 10th defeat in 12 matches for the Jazz.

For their part, the Nets are aiming for 10th place for the Hawks, synonymous with “play-in”, and they are getting further away from it each day… Last night, Kevin Ollie's players lost 110-99 in Charlotte. However, thanks to Cam Thomas, Brooklyn had the best start, but Miles Bridges and Brandon Miller then enjoyed themselves against a defense that was completely absent at times. While the Nets were back at -6 at the end of the match, it was precisely the Bridges-Miller duo who ensured the victory in “money time”.

Finally, the Raptors and the Blazers are already on vacation, but that doesn't stop them from putting on a spectacle and, above all, suspense. In front of their home crowd, Portland won 128-118 after overtime, and it was Chris Boucher who snatched overtime with a tap at the buzzer! But in the extra five minutes, Deandre Ayton's teammates (30 points, 19 rebounds) will sign a 7-0 to take back control, and it is Dalano Banton who will knock out the Raptors with six points in a row, including a big one. 3-pointer at the end of the possession.
