Stats & Highlights | The Magic no longer stops, the Grizzlies are unlocked

With his hand under his ear, Jalen Suggs asks the audience at the Amway Center to make some noise. The Magic guard just sent Cole Anthony in the alley-oop with a gesture reminiscent of Dwyane Wade putting LeBron James into orbit, from the time they played together in Miami. Something is happening in Orlando.

By putting on a show against the modest Wizards (3v-15d), the Magic players (13v-5d) pocketed an eighth victory in a row. Franz Wagner scored a season record (31 points), as did Jalen Suggs (22), while Cole Anthony was still on the bench (25). The Magic left their opponent little chance by shooting with a 61% success rate, including 63% from distance.

Two players passed the 20-point mark opposite (Kyle Kuzma and Deni Avdija) while Frenchman Bilal Coulibaly contributed 7 points and 5 rebounds.

An equally “festive” atmosphere in Tennessee where the Grizzlies (4v-13d) beat the Jazz (6v-12), to offer themselves… the first success of their season at home. With his 20 points, Jaren Jackson Jr, supported by five teammates with 11 points or more, finished as the game’s top scorer. The Jazz, who remained on two straight victories against the Pelicans, posted their worst offensive performance of the season.
