Stats & Highlights | The easy Suns, it’s high for the Grizzlies and the Kings
December 5, 2022
Going up against poor Spurs, the Suns knew they were in for a quiet night. This was indeed the case and the Texans recorded their eleventh straight loss. The franchise record of 1989 with 13 consecutive losses is not very far away…
Behind the Western Conference leader Phoenix, the Grizzlies and Kings are keeping pace. Memphis ruled out Detroit, Sacramento dominated Chicago. The Bulls, they are vegetating with a third loss in a row.
New Orleans–Denver Brooklyn–Boston New York–Cleveland Washington–LA Lakers Portland–Indiana
San Antonio–Phoenix: 95-133
This duel between the best team in the West and the worst kept its “promises”. The Suns largely dominated the Spurs, who only held the first quarter. In the second, the Texans only scored eleven points and lost seven balls…
It’s too easy for Phoenix who can unroll his basketball with 38 assists and more than 50% shooting success. Deandre Ayton took the opportunity to score 25 points and San Antonio sank with an eleventh straight loss.

Detroit–Memphis: 112-122
No Steven Adams, no problems for Memphis because Ja Morant takes care of everything. The Grizzlies attacked from the start, going 7-0, and pulled away in the first quarter. Dillon Brooks and Jaren Jackson Jr. shone in the first half.
In second, Morant took control. He scored 21 points and gave three assists in the third quarter alone! Killian Hayes (13 points and 6 assists) and the Pistons can do nothing and must bow.
The Bulls are in trouble, and even a big Zach LaVine (41 points) can’t get them out of trouble. The Kings got their hands on the first period, almost twenty points ahead.
In the third quarter, LaVine scores 15 points and closes the gap. In the last act, Chicago gets closer to a possession, but with Malik Monk and Domantas Sabonis, author of a triple-double, the Californians resist and win.
