Stats & Highlights | Celtics and Pelicans continue to win | NBA
February 7, 2022
Little by little, the Celtics are approaching the Top 6 in the East. As the Nets are in the hard since the injury of Kevin Durant, the players of Boston, who have just garnered a fifth victory in a row, could well pass them very soon. Unthinkable three weeks ago…
For the Pelicans, too, the future has been brighter lately. The Blazers are collapsing, so New Orleans, with its third straight win, can settle into 10th place in the West.
Chicago–Philadelphia Denver–Brooklyn Minnesota–Detroit Dallas–Atlanta Cleveland–Indiana LA Clippers–Milwaukee
Orlando-Boston: 83-116
Boston is done with Orlando this season and for the third time the Celtics have won. Serious in defense, they stifled the Magic from the start of the match since the Floridians missed 16 of their first 21 shots. For three quarters, the latter will be very, very clumsy from afar at 3-pts.
In the third quarter, the Celtics accelerate and take more than ten points ahead. Faced with such an inoffensive team, the meeting is folded before the last act for the troops of Ime Udoka. Their fifth straight win.

Houston–New Orleans: 107-120
After a balanced first period, at the start of the second half, Houston took an 11-point lead. It was then that Brandon Ingram (33 points and 12 assists) took control. With their winger scoring 17 points in this quarter, the Pelicans go 13-0.
In the fourth quarter, New Orleans drove the point home with a 7-0 to take an almost 15-point lead. This time it’s the Rockets who respond with an 8-2 and award-winning baskets from Kenyon Martin Jr. and Jae’Sean Tate. But Jonas Valanciunas scored all the points in a 7-1 that killed the game. This is the third victory in a row for the players of Willie Green.
