Spurs sign Stanley Johnson

Last season, Stanley Johnson (26) managed to show up in Los Angeles. The former Pistons had rendered good service, often starting and turning 6.7 points and 3.2 rebounds on average in 22 minutes.

Kept by the Lakers at the start of the offseason, he was then sent to Utah with Talen Horton-Tucker in exchange for Patrick Beverley. The Jazz had cut him before the start of the season, leaving him without a club since.

The Athletic tells us that it was the Spurs who decided to relaunch him, signing him until the end of the season.

The team is in reconstruction, the former 8th choice of the 2015 Draft should therefore have opportunities to express themselves. In order to sign him, San Antonio decided to cut Alize Johnson.
