Spurs arena officially becomes Frost Bank Center

The 2023 offseason will have been one of renewal for the Spurs. Less than a month before the resumption of the regular season, the Texan franchise, reinvigorated by Victor Wembanyama’s Draft, has formalized the new name of its room, called “AT&T Center since 2006, the contract with the company of telephony having ended in 2021.

At the start of the school year, it will now have to be called “Frost Bank Center”, after the name of the local bank with which San Antonio has signed up. Many supports within the room will therefore be updated before the resumption.

“The Spurs will begin work this month to update signage inside and outside the Frost Bank Center, including branding, ticketing materials, the field jumbotron and other marketing materials. The majority of these changes inside and outside the arena will be made before the start of the season.”, declared the franchise via a press release.

Frost Bank is a long-time partner of the Spurs. It is in particular the latter which appeared as the only jersey sponsor on the club’s official outfits from 2018.

According to Jeff Garcia, host of the “Locked On Spurs” podcast, other new features will appear in the San Antonio room, including a fresco in the corridor “Puro Meter” as well as a light show interactive which will evolve according to the noise that the fans make inside the room.
