Slam Dunk Contest: Mac McClung will defend his title!

We already know the first participant in the All-Star Weekend, and it is Mac McClung. According to The Athleticthe leaping guard will defend his Slam Dunk Contest winner's trophy, and he is a choice participant for an event since he gave a second wind to a sluggish contest.

Star of the 2023 edition, Mac McClung failed to land a contract in the NBA, and this year, he shines in the Magic's G-League team, where he averages 25.4 points and 6.3 assists.

Dunks already in stock!

Last February, McClung won the Slam Dunk Contest by dominating Trey Murphy III, the Pelicans winger, and he warned that he had dunks in stock if he were to be invited again.

“I had eight dunks, and I had to choose between them all. There are four that I haven't kept, that I really like, and they're still in my bag.” he announced. “If it happens again next year, I'll definitely try to be creative, and I'm already thinking of new things. I love creating new dunks, and we have a lot of fun during this process. »
