After the “Iron Feet” and the “Suspended”, here is the “Suspended Low”, the latest model developed by the French equipment manufacturer B.Ease. The brand created in 2017 by Eric Remond released this “Low” model of the “Suspended” last October, with the aim of making some corrections compared to the previous version, in accordance with the feedback provided by players.
It is therefore a revisited “Suspended Low” which has seen the light of day, accompanied by a few corrections aimed at improving the whole. The liner system without a tongue has given way to more classic lacing, the composition of the midsole has also been revised and its marriage with the bi-material insole offers a result which is worth the detour, in terms of comfort notably.
With the lighting of its main creator, the “Suspended Low” therefore passed on the grill of DNA of Sports for this test confirming the presence of the latest from B.Ease among the best “Low” models on the market.
GENERAL COMFORT
The pair is very easy to put on, much more so than the classic Suspended, designed in the form of a slipper, without a tongue. On the Low version, the tongue is well padded, always a nice little extra.
The feeling of overall comfort is immediate, and if the new foam used for the midsole certainly plays a role, we can also note the quality of the insole which contributes to general comfort.

The eye of Eric Remond:
For us, the quality of the insole was a super important element. This is an element that can be more easily worked on. The idea was to play on comfort and at the same time technicality with bounce, energy transmission and others. We worked on it in two materials. The first layer is made of memory foam, allowing it to adapt to each person's body and providing a direct approach that is extremely soft and comfortable. Its particularity is comfort, on the other hand, it does not provide sufficient dynamism. You lose the “bounce” side. So, we coupled it with EVA, a material that is certainly more traditional, but which allows for this energy return aspect, from back to front. This is why we opted for this coupling, to have static but also dynamic comfort.
CUSHIONED
The midsole has been reworked and it is on this point that the Suspended Low stands out from its big sister. The objective of offering a slightly more flexible set has been achieved, with the additional effect provided by the insole.
We maintain enough rigidity to preserve the dynamism expected by users of Low models, with a “lighter” profile. This is therefore a big positive point of the model.

The eye of Eric Remond:
We had feedback on the Mid version that the sole was too hard, especially for light weights. Our basic idea was to have a sole that was very durable. The particularity of foam, in terms of durability, remains compaction. These are air cells, so the more you press on them, the more it settles. Since we switched to a Low, for profiles which are more for outdoor players, lighter, we reworked the density of the foam to have something slightly softer, without it being too soft either so as not to impact sustainability.
TRACTION
The pair features a classic herringbone rubber outsole, with a nice surface area in the forefoot for added control and more aggressive support. The coating adheres quite well to the ground, even on tarmac.
All requested supports can be performed without problem, whether on forward momentum or more lateral movements.

SUPPORT AND STABILITY
The lacing system is a point on which B.Ease wanted to stand out, this time remaining on the same principle as the Suspended Low with the presence of pulling straps used on parachutes completed with more classic eyelets. The whole offers optimal support, the heel being taken into account in particular thanks to the B-stable lacing.
Stability is also very good, due in particular to the large surface of the foot in contact with the ground. For a Low model, this is also a plus.
The eye of Eric Remond:
This was quite an important point for us. It is coupled on a front part where the sole is much wider, which allows the toes to be spread apart. For us, it is important that a basketball player has the largest contact surface on the ground. This also reduces the risk of sprains. The idea was to have this increase in surface area at the front, which also means that behind, the heel block must be well locked at the rear. This is why we worked on a lacing system which allows the foot to be properly enlisted at the rear and locked securely at the front, to make the connection. The lacing system is both adaptive, with its straps and the eyelet which allows the heel block to be securely locked.

FINISHES AND LIFESPAN
The composition of the Suspended Low upper allowed B.Ease to highlight its ecological commitment, with the use of new materials from recycling. The base of the upper is made of parachute fabric from recycled plastic bottles.
The emphasis is on durability, with a heat-welded band for protection on the forefoot, and a TPU reinforcement on the rear base. The design is rather classic overall, with a spotted midsole, the presence of the B.Ease brand logo at the bottom of the laces, on the band covering the laces and on the vamp, and a pull tab at the back .
Finally, we will note the presence of a basketball under the sole, where the slogan “Every Shot Count” running along the tongue and the zipper among the final details. Only two colors are currently available, black and white for one, green and white for the other.
The overall lifespan of the model is also very good. Classic eyelets are the first to show signs of fatigue over time, but you just need to lace a little harder. The protections on the forefoot and heel are effective, and the durability of the sole remains very good, even after regular use.

VERDICT
B.Ease took advantage of the release of a Low model to review its copy and take advantage of feedback on the Mid version to improve this new model. The bet has paid off, the French brand has managed to deliver a real Suspended “2.0”. The shoe has improved in terms of its midsole with a bit more flexibility, is easier to put on, offers good traction in terms of traction while keeping the same DNA, particularly in its ecological approach.
The pair offers great technical characteristics, especially for an unbeatable price, at 99 euros. New colors are expected to complete the collection released last October to prepare for the summer season
The eye of Eric Remond:
We continue to stay in the very essence of the brand, that is to say already collaborative work, with the players. It is a model which is not developed for one person, but with players in the broad sense, both amateurs and professionals, and to provide this side of comfort and performance at an affordable price. We released a model that is rather very efficient for 99 euros. I often say that if we put a lot of marketing around it, we would release it at 120 euros. But our idea is to make a performance tool accessible, and therefore, to release a model for less than 100 euros.
