And we learn that, even if the Sixers have no intention of parting with the former Orlando or Detroit, several teams are learning about the strong winger, who is entering the last year of his contract.
The Inquirer indeed announces that the Pacers, Pistons and Cavaliers are looking into whether Tobias Harris is available or not. Indiana would also be the most interested team.
But since the Philadelphia franchise is not a seller, the Sixers are asking far, far too much to sell Tobias Harris. Seeing him leave the Sixers in the Draft therefore seems unlikely for the moment.
Especially since there is the James Harden file to settle and Nick Nurse arrives on the bench this summer. Therefore, Daryl Morey and the Sixers can be patient and can still trade Tobias Harris by the 2024 trade deadline, if necessary or if the stakes go up. Even why not extend it, but at a logically more reasonable price than during his last contract in 2019 (180 million over five years)…
