News from Sekou Doumbouyawho was recently left in France, during his rather successful stint in Roanne. We thus learn that he has signed up for a year with the MoraBanc Andorrawho has been playing in the Spanish championship since this season, after moving up from the second division.
At 23, the Frenchman will therefore make his debut in Liga Endesa, after having had a series of unsuccessful attempts (Monaco, Maroussi and Boulogne-Levallois) since leaving the United States over a year ago, on a G-League title with the Delaware Blue Coats (affiliated with the Sixers). Until he got back into it for good with the Chorale, where he averaged 21.2 points and 4.9 rebounds over ten games.
Chosen in 15th position in the 2019 Draft, and having played for the Pistons and then the Lakers (5.6 points and 2.8 rebounds on average in his career), Sekou Doumbouya will now try to continue his momentum with the Andorran club. There, he could play in the next Champions League, in the event of MoraBanc Andorra qualifying for the play-offs this summer.
