Season over for Kevin Huerter, big worry for Malik Monk

Bad news to Sacramentosince ESPN teaches us the upcoming operation of Kevin Huerter to the left shoulder, in order to repair his torn labrum contracted last week in Memphis (in addition to a dislocation). Consequently, it is already forfeited until the end of this season and it should be reinstated for the start of the next.

Anything but ideal for Kingswho lose their starting back (10.2 points at 36% at 3-points), less efficient and productive than last season, but still important for the offensive balance of Mike Brown with his quality of shooting and movement.

An MRI for Malik Monk

In the absence of Kevin Huerter, it was Keon Ellis who became Sacramento's new position 2 alongside De'Aaron Fox. An Ellis who should be put to even greater use, because the Californian franchise lost Malik Monk last night, the victim of a major knee sprain. The favorite for the title of Sixth Man of the Year must have an MRI to find out the severity of his sprain, but his medical staff is rather pessimistic…

Currently, the Kings rank 8th in the Western Conference with 42 wins and 31 losses. But the Top 6 is moving away, since the Mavericks, who won at home during the night, now have two victories ahead in the standings.
