Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller and the Thompson twins will succeed each other in Charlotte

For the moment quite discreet about their strategy in the pre-Draft process and their intentions with their second choice, the Hornets will get to the heart of the matter on this subject from this weekend.

In effect, according to the Charlotte Observerthe club will soon launch a salvo of individual “workouts” with several big “prospects”, probably in the presence of Mitch Kupchak, Michael Jordan and coach Steve Clifford.

The first “workout” is scheduled for Sunday with Scooter Henderson, the big favorite for the selection in second position. will follow Brandon Miller on Tuesday, also widely considered in second place, then the twins Amen And Ausar Thompson Friday. Finally, and this is a little more surprising because it is rather expected out of the Top 3, the leaders of the Hornets will receive Cam Whitmore the Saturday.

In short, even if we suspect that his selection will most certainly be Scoot Henderson or Brandon Miller, the management of the Charlotte club does not hesitate to cast a wider net, by inviting other young talents more widely expected in the Top 10. An assiduous process which will undoubtedly soon reveal other names, and which will maintain for some time the smoke screen which masks the true intentions of the Hornets.
