Rupture of a knee tendon for… Chris Finch!

This is undoubtedly the only downside to the Wolves' evening in Phoenix. If the latter validated the sweep, the famous sweep (4-0), by still dominating the Suns, and are now qualified for the Western Conference semi-final, they on the other hand “lost” Chris Finch.

Yes, because the coach was injured in the middle of the match – an extremely rare occurrence – and not just a little since he suffered a rupture of the patellar tendon in his right knee!

What happened ? At the end of the match, Devin Booker fouls Mike Conley. The Wolves playmaker is sent to his coach. The shock leaves the coach on the ground, holding his right knee in pain. Chris Finch then goes to the locker room and lets his assistant coach, Micah Nori, finish the job for him.

“I told him to sit down. He shouldn't be standing like that at the end of the game.”, Mike Conley has fun. “He’s in a good frame of mind, like the guys are.”assures Micah Nori after Minnesota’s qualification.

Chris Finch will therefore coach the series against the Nuggets or the Lakers on crutches, or nailed to the bench, to please Conley who no longer wants to see him standing…
