Rookies of the month: Paolo Banchero accompanied by Keegan Murray

The NBA begins its distribution of trophies of the month for December with the rookies. In the East, Paolo Banchero is preferred to AJ Griffin, Jaden Ivey, Bennedict Mathurin and Andrew Nembhard.

It is that the first choice of the last Draft turned to 19.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists on average. Even if his success percentages are average (40% including 34% by far), the strong winger is easily the best scorer of the rookies over the period, and Orlando managed a good month of December (8 wins – 7 losses).

In the West, no one really stands out among the beginners and after the surprise Jalen Williams for the first trophy of the season, it is Keegan Murray who is chosen this time.

The Kings rookie is however not particularly flamboyant, with 12.7 points and 3.5 rebounds on average, but he shoots 46% from long range and the Kings are also doing well over the period, with 8 wins for 6 losses. In any case, he was preferred to Walker Kessler, Jabari Smith Jr, Jeremy Sochan and Jalen Williams.
